Ray Wilson Yoho, 86, of Wayne Twp. passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, PA. Born November 20, 1930 in Shenango Twp., he was the son of the late John E and Catharine Irene Houk Yoho. Ray graduated and served as the Class President for the Class of 1948 at Shenango High School. He served aboard the USS Lowery in the US Navy during the Korean War where he was awarded The Korean Service Medal with one star and the United Nations Service Medal.  Lloyd Elmer  Moyer, 93, of Schill Manor, Ellwood City, formerly of Fombell, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital. He was born  in  Fombell, Beaver County, on September 26 1924 to the late Elmer and Esther Herrmann  Moyer. He married the late Phyllis Catherine Boots Moyer on June 12 1948.  She preceded him in death in October 2014. Together they remained on the farm,  and owned and operated Moyer Farm Dairy from 1959-1972.   After selling the dairy, Lloyd worked at the Ellwood City Forge until his retirement.   He continued working as needed  as…

Frank  Tangora, 93, of  Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2 2017 at  The Grove at Harmony PA. He was born in  Aliquippa   on August 6 1924,  to the late the late  Pasquale  and Antonetta    Tangora. Frank attended Aliquippa High School,  and then served in the US Army 5th Air Force during WWII, with the 90th Bombardment Group, in New Guinea, the Bismark  Archepelago,   and the Phillippines. Rev. Carl E. “Chip” Hockenberry, 87, of North Sewickley Twp went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He had been under hospice care at the Ellwood City Hospital. Born October 27, 1929 in Franklin Twp. Beaver County, he was the son of the late Loyal Earl Hockenberry and Ethel Grace McCartney Hockenberry. Regis H. “Rick” Frederick Jr., 70, of New Beaver Boro passed away peacefully Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Born December 8, 1946 in Sewickley, he was the son of the late Regis and Mildred Louise McConnell Frederick Sr. He was married for 49 years to Darlene A. Brown Frederick who survives. Dakota Joe Olinger, 22, of New Castle passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. Dakota was a self employed construction worker. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Catholic faith.
