Janice E. Kelly, 76, of New Beaver Boro died Friday, November 17, 2017 at Jameson Hospital. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born September 9, 1941 in Kane, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A.and Beatrice Bushley Phillips.  She was married for 34 years to Carl M. Kelly who survives. They were married December 5, 1983. In addition to her husband, Carl, survivors include one son, Steven C. (Gretchen) Kelly of Bostic North Carolina and a sister, Diana (Ronald) Lineman of Oil City. Lena Stanilla Bauder, 97, of Ellwood City, (Franklin Twp.) was called home to the Lord, on Sunday evening, November 19, 2017 at the Ellwood City Medical Center. She was born on January 2, 1920 in Lebanon, PA to the late Anna Arazan and Joseph Stanilla. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1937, where she met her future husband, Willard E. Robert F. Smorada Sr., 80, of Ellwood City, passed away Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 21, 1937 in Haydenville, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph R. and Valeria Ann Buran Smorada.  He was married for 59 years to Marcia Lee Osterwise Smorada who survives. Mrs. Dorothy M. Barrett, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her daughters residence in Beaver Falls. Mrs. Barrett was born on August 8, 1927 in New Brighton to the late Joseph Hagans and Verda Penney. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. Lawrence Pasquale, 91 of Townwood Rd., North Sewickley Township passed away at the Ellwood City Medical Center on Monday, November 13, 2017. Born in Ellwood City on June 9, 1926 Lawrence was the son on the late Guiseppe and Maria Purinna Pasquale.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Theressa Piacesi on April 1, 1983.  Lawrence retired from the Ellwood Works of US Steel where he worked in the foundry.  After US Steel closed he worked at the B&W.  Lawrence also helped construct both the Zelienople Community Mausoleum and the Slippery Rock Cemetery Mausoleum.  He was a…

Frederick D. “Buz” Stelter, 86, of Boyd School Rd., Wampum (Shenango Twp.) passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following an extended illness. Born April 13, 1931 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Fred D. and Virginia Bowden Stelter. He was married for 64 years to Florence “Allie” Alden Stelter as they were married February 26, 1953.
