Donald Schlemmer, 87, of Wurtemburg passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Born in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Earl Emery and Mary Melzina Smith Schlemmer. He was married for 50 years to Mary Wolfe Schlemmer who passed away October 22, 2000. Donald retired after 40 years with Armstrong World Industries. He was a member and also served as the Secretary and Vice President of the Local 256 United Rubber Workers. Arthur J. Mazzei, 47, of Ellwood City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness. Arthur was born on July 29, 1970 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph “Lucky” and Connie DeBaise Mazzei, Sr.. Mrs. Helen M. Montgomery, 73, of Fombell passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Passavant Retirement Community. Mrs. Montgomery was born on November 30, 1943 in Leechburg to the late Herbert and Viola Wyrick. She is a member of the Leechburg High School class of 1961. She had worked at Reboard in Apollo, PA and later for Romar Textiles for 26 years as a seamstress. Helen also was a member of the former Knox Presbyterian Church and the Franklin Twp.
