Megan Rae Wilhelm, 28 of Transfer, PA passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Born in Brighton Township on December 16, 1988 she was the daughter of Sherri Hoak of Transfer, PA and Eric L. Wilhelm of Beaver Falls.  Megan served in the Army in Texas training as a medic from 2007 through 2011.  She enjoyed camping and her music but mostly the time spent with her children, Pierson L. Betty L. Wright, 91

Betty L. Wright, 91, of Foch Street, Ellwood City, passed away in her residence on Thursday, September 21, 2017.  Born in Wurtemburg on May 28, 1926, Betty was the daughter of the late Leo O. and Caroline Hartzel Fox.  She married Raymond C. Wright on her birthday in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1988.  Betty was a former member of the Wurtemburg United Methodist Church.  She loved spending her summers fishing and socializing at the family cottage in Henry’s Bend in Oil City.  She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, often searching cookbooks for the perfect recipe….

Helen E. Swogger, 83, of Swogger Lane, New Beaver Boro passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 following an extended illness. Born May 29, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Earl S. and Effie Clingerman Jay. She was married for 60 years to John Ralph Swogger who passed away June 29, 2012. Margaret L. Price, 87, formerly of Castlewood passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Avalon Nursing Center. A lifelong resident, Peg was born May 9, 1930 on Harmony Baptist Rd in Castlewood, the daughter of the late Robert and Lula Lutz Newton. She was married for 69 years to Keith E. Price as they were married June 19, 1948. He survives. Peg graduated from Shenango High School in 1948. She was an active member of the Center United Presbyterian Church. Frederick P. Curry, 82, of New Beaver Boro passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness. A lifelong resident, Fred was born September 12, 1935 in Wampum to the late William and Ellen Wardman Curry. He was married for 60 years to Martha Rorabaugh Curry who survives. Kirk A. “Zeke” Zikeli, 61, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 in the Allegheny General Hospital. Kirk was born on March 16, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late Karl R. and Doris H.
