Patricia G. Quinn Shoaf, 64, of  Beaver Falls (North Sewickley Twp.), passed away peacefully into Jesus’ arms, on  Wednesday evening,  March  28, 2018 after a 16 month  courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Ellwood City on January 5 1954 to the late Warren Quinn and  Emma Virginia Aiken Quinn of  North Sewickley, who survives. Patti graduated in the class of 1972   at Riverside High School, and attended Slippery Rock University. Donald Cooper, 81, of Volpes Way, Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born September 27, 1936 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Millard Cooper and the late Emma Tritt Cooper LeFever . He was married to Charlotte Hogue Cooper who survives. Don retired as a millwright in 2000 following 35 years of service at the Ellwood City Forge. Following his retirement, he repaired small engines and lawnmowers. Robert Eugene Roush, 90, of Wampum Koppel Rd., Wampum passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a short illness. He has gone home to be with the Lord and his late wife and daughter. Born April 11, 1927 in New Brighton, he was the son of the late Eugene and Mary Boswell Roush. Emma L. Blaskowitz, 70, of Second St, Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her home. Born August 14, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was daughter of the late John and Lorena (Gifford) Lutz, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Dennis P. Blaskowitz, married September 8, 1973. Emma worked at many companies throughout her life including Mathews Conveyor, the Holiday Inn, Perrone’s Restaurant, Indian Creek Nursing Home and Eat-n-Park. Mrs. Nadine Gold, 79, of Cranberry Twp. passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the UPMC Passavant Hospital. Mrs. Gold was born on March 10, 1939 in New Castle to the late Archie and Theresa Fiorelli Antinossi. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1958. Mrs. Anna Hazen, 93, formerly of Franklin Twp., passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at the VNA Hospice in Butler. Mrs. Hazen was born on February 24, 1925 in Ellwood City to the late Dumitru “Daniel” and Aurelia Ungham Fenechi, Sr.. Anna had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1943 and from Lawrence County Vo-Tech where she studied nursing. Jean B. Steele Cooper, 99, of Hollow Road, (Wayne Township) passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, March 15 2018 at her home. She was born in Wayne Township (New Castle) on January 7 1919 to the late Walter  and Myrtle Newton Steele. Roger Johnston, 83, of Morningstar Dr., Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Beaver following a brief illness. Born January 18, 1935 in Wampum, PA, he was the son of the late Marcus and Dorothy Johnston. He was married on April 12, 1958 to Virginia Ursu Johnston. She survives.
