Barbara K. Tepsich, 72, of Shenango Twp. (formerly of Boyd School Rd.,Wampum) passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at The Grove of New Castle following a lengthy illness. Born June 6, 1947 in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hope (Webster) Piersol. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James D. Piersol. Barbara graduated from Center High School. She retired from St. Francis Hospital where she was a medical secretary. She then retired from the Youth Development Center. Barb was an avid reader. Herbert E. Deal, 81, of West Pittsburg passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his residence following a short illness. Born July 11, 1938 in Koppel, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Margaret C. (Mills) Deal. Herb retired in 1986 from Babcock and Wilcox where he was a millwright welder. He then worked and retired in 2000 from Essroc Cement Co. in Bessemer. A Veteran of the Army, Herb served during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Thomas L. Lash, 78, of Ellwood City, North Sewickley twp. passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital. Born October 2, 1940 in Ellwood City, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth S. and Virginia L. Linville Lash. He was married to Patty Deemer Lash for 34 years, she survives. Mrs. Stacey M. Hoak, 53, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at her home following a long time illness surrounded by her loving family. Stacey was born on November 9, 1965 in Ellwood City to the late Erwin “Bud” and Mary (Rockyvich) Campbell. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984. Mrs. Lubich was born on June 19, 1936 in Ellwood City to the late Dan “Donato” and Rose Marie (Paglia) Rocco. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1955. Shirley F. Snare, 84, of  Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, August 1 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, after a long illness. She was born in Ellwood City on June 22 1935 to the late Victor and Lillian McCready  Rider. Shirley graduated from Lincoln High School in 1953, and  graduated from the Jameson Hospital School of Nursing.    As a registered nurse, she worked for over 40 years at Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Russell B. Malcolm, 39, of North Beaver Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2019. Born October 22, 1979 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Russell J. Malcolm with whom he resided and the late Barbara Jean Moore Malcolm. Russell formerly worked at Doren Inc in Wampum and Steelite International in New Castle. He was currently employed at McKesson Pharmaceuticals. Russell was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Steeler Fan.
