William “Bill” John Miller of Ellport, 91, passed away on December 23, 2020, from complications of COVID-19. He leaves his beloved wife of nearly 70 years, Catherine Paul, daughter Janine Graham (Jim), son Robin (Patty Power), son-in-law Bob McNutt, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. His daughter, Cherlyn McNutt, preceded him in death. Born in Ellwood City on July 13, 1929, Bill lived his whole life here. Janet G. Haggerty, 89, formerly of North Beaver Township passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Shenango On The Green following a brief illness. Born April 23, 1931 in Elcho, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Herbert H. and Clara A. Wickham Reed. She was married to Samuel A. Haggerty who passed in 2006. Janet was an active member of the Moravia Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Airway Industries. She enjoyed many activities with her church family. Suzanne Louise Weir Jackson, age 68, of Alderson, W.Va., formerly of New Castle, Pa., passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at the Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, W.Va., following a short illness. Born July 24, 1952 in Ellwood City, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Audley Eugene and Beverly Joan Veon Weir. In Addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Eugene Jackson; a granddaughter, Brianna McKnight; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Mary Jackson. Richard A. Sarver, 74, of Tidioute passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie following a brief illness. Born November 10, 1946 in Santa Monica, California, he was the son of the late Wilbert C. and Mary Castaldo Sarver. He was married to Carol Schrecengost Sarver for 13 years. Richard served in the United States Navy from 1966-1967. He was an active member of the Tionesta Church of God. Phyllis Blythe Kasper, 87, of Beaver Falls passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Coraopolis. Born February 2, 1933 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Myrl Galbreath Blythe. She was married for 48 years to Joseph Kasper as they were married on June 29, 1956.
