James Patrick Sudano, 61 of Ellwood City passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Born in Ellwood City on March 21, 1958 to Dorothy Ferrese Sudano of Ellwood City and the late Anthony Sudano.  James is also survived by his wife, the former Connie A. Pasquale whom he married on July 24, 1982.  James retired from Andritz-Herr-Voss- Stamco in Conway as a Machinest.  He was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish.  James enjoyed carpentry and remodeling, riding his Harley and restoring his 1949 Ford F1 truck.  He was a small game hunter but mostly he enjoyed the…

Celeste L. Barnes, 44, of Beaver Falls passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. Celeste was born on February 7, 1975, in New Brighton to the late Dr. Charles L. “Lee” and Linda “Linn” (Stempeck) Barnes. She had attended Riverside High School and Culinary School at CCBC. Celeste worked as a cook at various restaurants in the area. She enjoyed cooking, swimming, singing karaoke, and loved all animals. Linda L. McLaughlin, 75, of Portersville passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 following a short illness. Born December 7, 1944 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Leland and Anna (Stoops) Brown. Linda graduated from Riverside High School with the Class of 1963. She worked as a waitress for many years at many different restaurants most recently at McDonald’s on 422. Linda was a member of the Hungarian Home in Ellwood City. Colby K. Tooker, 36, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020, at his residence. Colby was born on June 27, 1983 at Fort Hood, Texas to Malea Cochran of Portersville. He had graduated from Seneca Valley High School with the class of 2001 and later from the New Castle School of Trades earning a certificate in HVAC. Olga A. Jenkins, 82, of New Galilee passed away Monday, January 13, 2020 at Avalon Place in New Castle following an extended illness. Born May 27, 1937 in New Galilee, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Giovanna (Borroni) Franchi. Olga formerly worked at Mayer China and Uslenghi Candies in New Galilee. Melvin L. Moser, 83, of Portersville passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital following a two week illness. Born August 21, 1936 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Michael and Leila (Smith) Moser. Melvin formerly owned and operated Moser Logging and also worked as a heavy equipment operator.
