Janet L. Raisley, 73, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Beaver Valley Healthcare & Rehabilitation. Janet was born on September 20, 1946 in New Brighton to the late James and Mary (Stump) Rexroad. For many years she had worked at Trinity Oaks in Franklin Twp. as a nurse’s aide. Janet enjoyed playing bingo, working crossword puzzles, and most of all her grandchildren. Cindy L. Stabryla, 61

Cindy L. Stabryla, 61, of Chewton, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the emergency room at UPMC Jameson. Born on December 14, 1958 in Ellwood City, Cindy was the daughter of Doris Wallace Woloszyn of Chewton and the late Andrew Woloszyn.  She married Dennis Stabryla on July 11, 1977 and they celebrated 42 years of marriage.  A 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School, Cindy enjoyed going to the beach and being by the water.  She was a huge Guns N’ Roses fan, arguably their biggest.  But most of all, Cindy absolutely loved her two grandchildren, Sebastian and Genevieve….

Elizabeth “Betty” Moskal, 94, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Kobacker House in Columbus, OH. Born in Chewton on May 7, 1925, Betty was the daughter of the late Justyn and Mary Burik Bozlinski.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond V. Frederick R. Hartwell, 84, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 6, 2020 at his residence. Born September 29, 1935 in Greenfield, MA, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Elizabeth C. (Bridges) Hartwell. Fred was formerly employed at Harvey Aluminum and Martin Metals and Alloys. Florence Marshall Hazen, 93, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Jameson Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born September 11, 1926 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late William and Alta Vivian Rosser. Florence graduated from Portersville High School and Geneva College. She taught at Wayne Twp. Mrs. Camilla Fellner, 89, died at Heritage Valley Beaver, Beaver PA on February 9, 2020, following a two-week illness. Camilla was born in Ellwood City on July 22, 1930, to the late Domenick DeCampli and Adeline (Trivilino) DeCampli. She had graduated from Lincoln High School, and received a Bachelors Degree from Mercyhurst College in Education. After receiving her degree, she taught at BVM elementary school, until the birth of her first child.
