David F. “Mitzi” Moritza, 65

David F. “Mitzi” Moritza, 65, passed away at Quality Life Services New Castle on Sunday, August 22, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on November 3, 1955, Mitzi was the son of the late David and Rose Genivia Moritza.  A 1973 graduate of Lincoln High School, he participated in the school’s initial wrestling program.  He also participated in many local arm-wrestling contests.  Mitzi retired as a custodian from the Seneca Valley School District.  A lifelong fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates, he also loved the Baltimore Colts and Boston Celtics.  Mitzi played church league softball…

Glenn Taylor Koach, 97, passed away peacefully of old age on August 18th 2021. Glenn, the son of Roy W. and Edna Taylor Koach, was a lifelong resident of the Ellwood City area, being born and raised in Wurtemburg, Pennsylvania.
