Stephen J. Douglas, 57, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center in Beaver, following a brief illness. Stephen was born on January 1st, 1964 in Lewisham, England to the late Robert and Jean Alice (Jones) Douglas. He graduated from High School in England. Stephen worked at the McGuire Memorial Home as a direct care worker for 20 years. He enjoyed golfing and gaming on his PlayStation. He is survived by his wife, Tawnia L. James L. Hoover, 93, of Austintown, Ohio, passed away at the Austin Wood Care Facility on April 14, 2021. James was born in Ellwood City on April 13, 1928, son to the late Leo and Lillian Kistner Hoover. After graduating from high school, James enlisted in the United States Navy and was discharged with honors. He married his first wife, Margaret King, in 1952, and after her passing, he married Shirleen Porter on May 29, 1971, who also preceded James in death. Mr. Douglas J. Carsele, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Carriage Manor Personal Care. Mr. Carsele was born on January 10, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late James and Esther (Barile) Carsele, Sr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1947.
