Eleanor S Palatka of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Trinity Oaks Personal Care following an extended illness. Eleanor was born September 16, 1928 to the late Joseph and Susanna Fletcher Savu. She was a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1946. Following high school graduation, Eleanor entered the work force as a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company in Ellwood City. She subsequently exercised her entrepreneurial spirit as owner of Palatka’s Fine Shoes in Ellwood City. John E. Leopardo, 91, of North Sewickley Township passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He was born on December 23, 1930, in Chewton, PA, to the late Joseph and Sylvia (Massa) Leopardo. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1948 and The Pennsylvania State University with a Major in Mechanical Engineering in 1952. John served in the U.S. Army at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland from 1955 – 1957. Barbara Boydell, 88, a lifelong resident of Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 12, 1934 in Frisco, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert C. and Tressa L. (Ritter) Hall. She was married to John Boydell. Barbara was a nurse for over 20 years at the Ellwood Hospital. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Her most cherished moments were spent with family. Our dear mother was funny, loving, always caring, unselfish, and courageous. We are so fortunate to have spent our lives with her. We will miss her every day….

Lisa J. Cook, 57, of Wampum passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 following a lengthy illness. Born August 7, 1965 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Betty June Weir D’Amico. Lisa enjoyed traveling and time spent with her family. She was Catholic by faith. Mary Lou Faull, 68, of Ellport passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2023 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Kermit and Carrol (Hoessler) Rotruck and was born July 3, 1954 in Honolulu, Hi. She is survived by her husband, of thirty-nine years, Gary L.
