Jessica Michelle Spaulding, 41, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Born May 28, 1981 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Todd Boots and Rachelle Bellian Kruger. She was married to James Spaulding Sr. when he passed away on August 8, 2008. Jessica was employed by the DON Services of New Castle where she worked as a caretaker. She loved taking care of people and will be remembered for her kindness and compassion. Margaret “Peg” Tritt, 97, of Ellport passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Born October 16, 1925 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Gilchrist Gardner. She was married to Floyd “Bud” Tritt who preceded her in death in January 1994.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Kliendienst, Evelyn Adams, and Alberta Hamilton Peg graduated with the Lincoln High School May Class of 1942 and continued her education graduating in 1945 with a Bachelor Degree in Education from Geneva College. Michael Douglas, 49, of North Sewickley Township passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his residence. Born January 17, 1973 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late James P. and Patricia G. Barrows Douglas. Michael attended Riverside High School. He worked as a Diesel Mechanic for Douglas Garage and helped on his uncle’s farm. George W. “Bo” Haswell, 65, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Saturday, December 31st, 2022 at the Quality of Life Services in New Castle. Bo was born on February 10th, 1957 in Ellwood City to the late, Francis B. and Janice (Duncan) Haswell II. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Robert Lee “Boo” Johnson, 54, of Aliquippa passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence. Born March 7, 1968 in New Brighton, he was the son of Robert Tanchuk and Diane Kidd. Alexander “Alex” Mulig, 26, of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family, following a two and a half-year courageous battle with cancer. Born March 10, 1996 in Ellwood City, he was the son of Robert Mulig and Debbie Novakovich.
