Linda (Mercado) Boots, 53, of New Brighton passed away Thursday, November 11th, 2021 surrounded by her family, at her residence. Linda was born on November 24th, 1967 in Ellwood City to the late Leon and Nancy (Wright) Mercado. She attended Riverside High School. Linda worked at Wendy’s in Cranberry Township as a cashier and then at W.J. Service in Ohio. She was a member of the Ellwood City Women’s pool league for many years and enjoyed playing bingo. William H. “Bonie” Timblin, 79, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born September 7, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Hugh V. and Margaret Jean Wimer Timlin. He was married to Bonnie K. Bair Timblin when she passed away in 2020. Bonie was employed by Mathews Conveyor. Survivors include brother in law, Kenneth H. Kemp of Beaver Falls. Per his wishes, no services will be held. Sanford L. “Sandy” Wallace, 60, of Hickory Township passed away November 9th, 2021 at his residence. Sandy was born on August 17th, 1961 to the late Winnie (Couts) Catron. He graduated from Beaver Falls High School with the class of 1979. Sandy worked at Envirotrol Inc., in Darlington as a manager for several years. He was an avid NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, who also enjoyed Native American heritage and culture. Sandy was known for lending a helping hand to veterans in need around the area. Brenda L. (Jones) Neupauer, 62, of Ellport passed away on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born in Ellwood City on July 16th, 1959 to the late Elvery “Wally” and Catherine (DeBlasio) Jones. A home maker, she was a devoted mother, nanna, and aunt, family meant everything to her. She will be remembered for her daily inspirational facebook posts. Brenda very much enjoyed sitting on her porch swing and decorating for Christmas both inside and outside of her house. Kathy J. Berthold, 66, formerly of Portersville, passed away at The Grove at New Wilmington on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on July 5, 1955, Kathy was the daughter of the late William C. and Anna Koenig Berthold.  She enjoyed visiting Moraine and McConnells Mill State Parks and also enjoyed crocheting. Kathy is survived by a sister, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by three sisters. Patricia J. Emilko, 89, of Ontario, California passed away in Whittier, California on September 8, 2021. Patty was born in Ellwood City on February 28, 1932 to the late Martin and Mary (Powol) Emilko.  Before moving to California, Patty worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill.  Patricia attended St. George Roman Catholic Church near her home in Ontario, California where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.  She was employed by Verizon (formerly GTE) before her retirement.  Patty participated in and taught knitting at the Women’s Knitting Club near her home.
