According to information made available by the district on Monday, the Ellwood City Area School Board of Directors has scheduled a special meeting for Personnel for Thursday, January 19, 2023. The meeting will take place at 5:00 p.m. and will be conducted in the Board Room located in the Lincoln Jr/Sr High School. The Ellwood City School District is located at 501 Crescent Avenue, Ellwood City, PA 16117  


Calvin Church Starting New Program In February

Meet new people & explore faith together. Calvin Presbyterian Church will be sponsoring a new Alpha course beginning February 2nd. Alpha is a series of 12 weekly sessions where you can explore the Christian faith in an open-minded and welcoming environment.  The course is open to the public/community. Calvin Presbyterian Church will host the ALPHA course, run by Pastor Sean Brubaker. Each session begins with a meal, a video, and open-minded discussion. Ellwood City Wolves Club Hosts First Meeting Of New Year

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday at the Connequenessing Country Club. The Club finalized their plans for their next fundraiser: The Golf Bash on Sunday, February 19, 2023. This annual event is held at the Ellwood City Sons of Italy Hall on Lawrence Ave. The event runs from 1:00 -5:00 PM with volunteers needed to help on the floor and in the kitchen. History of Ellwood City Area Churches Presented at Historical Society Meeting

It was a busy evening during the first 2023 meeting of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society The highlight of the evening was First Vice President Andy Kindle’s very informative presentation on the history of Ellwood City area churches at the Society’s monthly public meeting at the History Center on Monday, January 9th. Riverside Lions Club Distributes Gifts, Supports Hygiene Helpers This Past Holiday Season

The Riverside Lions Club was busy during the holiday season. With the support of Project Homefront the club was able to distribute toys to five different locations in our area just in time for Christmas. The club distributed them to Riverside Elementary School, Perry Elementary, North Side Kindergarten, Central Valley School, and Divine Grace Social Services.
