HARRASSMENT: On May 1st at approximately 12:31 a.m., PA State Police New Castle responded to an active domestic at the 440 block of Pittsburgh Road, Wayne Township, Lawrence County. Ian Colombo, 34, of Wayne Township, was cited with summary harassment in relation to the incident with the 33-year-old female victim. THEFT: On May 3rd at approximately 11:44 a.m., PA State Police investigated the report of fraudulent activity on a bank account of a 69-year-old Enon Valley man. Lincoln High School Announces 2023 Prom Court

The 2023 Lincoln High School Prom Court has been announced! On Friday, the Ellwood City “A Night With The Stars” Prom will be held at the New Englander in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Prior to arriving at the New Englander, students will participate in the annual LHS Promenade held at the Leslie Sabo Memorial Auditorium. Bernstine to Host Concealed Carry Seminar On May 10

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) is inviting area residents to a Concealed Carry Seminar as a way to further understand their rights with respect to the state’s firearms laws and protections. Louise Carroll Receives Proclamation From Mayor Court

Mayor Anthony J. Court proclaimed Saturday, April 29, 2023 as Louise Carroll day in Ellwood City. The mayor, along with Council President George Celli, presented a proclamation in her honor celebrating her 90th Birthday. Frankin Township Clean Up Day Is Saturday

Clean up your yard, clean up your home, and clean up your garage! Franklin Township residents are invited to participate in a township clean-up day planned for this Saturday, May 6, 2023. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until 2:00 p.m. for township residents. Residents can drop off trash at the Franklin Township Building located on Route 288 in Fombell. This cleanup event is for township residents only, with two (2) passes allowed per household. A pass is good for one (1) load. Borough of Ellwood City Announces Community Garden Coloring Contest Winners

The Borough of Ellwood City is proud to announce the winners of the Community Garden Coloring Contest. The coloring contest was open to all residents of Elwood City between the ages of 4 and 12 and was hosted by the Department of Public Works.
