Annual Richard Hogue Memorial Blood Drive Scheduled For November 9th

The annual Richard Hogue Memorial Blood Drive has been announced and scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Hogue was only 28 when his life was taken on November 16, 2013. At the time of his death, he resided in Enon Valley, worked for Nick Mars Construction as a carpenter, and was a member of the Ellwood City Eagles Club. The Borough of Ellwood City is alerting residents of another round of scams that are targeting the elderly residents of Ellwood City. According to information made available by the borough, the scams are claiming that back property taxes are owed and they are delinquent and need to be paid according to Mayor Anthony J. The Ellwood City Area Public Library is hosting an art show on October 26th as a fundraising event. The show is scheduled to take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the library. The event will feature the works of M.C.
