Dick Allen will finally be inducted in to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. The wait will come to end on Sunday, July 27th when Allen is posthumously inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame with a well-deserved plaque in Cooperstown, N.Y. Wampum Borough will play host to celebrations this coming weekend ahead of Richard “Dick” Allen’s induction. Memorial Bricks from Ellwood City Hospital Get New Home in Ewing Park

144 bricks … not just bricks, but bricks that memorialized the loved ones of Ellwood City Residents were moved from the Ellwood City Hospital site to a new permanent home in Ewing Park. The Lincoln Class of 1954 First Luncheon 71st Reunion was held on Saturday, July 5th at Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub. Arrivals were greeted by chairmen Ilene Gardner and Pudue LaCava and received name tags from Judy Portugallo.
