Riverside Lions Club Participates in Work Weekend

District Governor Chips Campbell and Lion Mike Milnes of the Riverside Lions recently participated in a District 14 N Work Weekend at the Beacon Lodge Camp in Mt. Union, PA. The work weekend helps the camp get ready for the incoming campers. This has been maintained by the Lions of Pennsylvania and is designed specially to host the blind and visually impaired in the state. The complex offers three different areas for housing including a Children’s Village, Adult Village and the dorm buildings. Two Lincoln High School Students Sign Letters of Intent

In the past week, two Lincoln High School seniors have signed their letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college. Ryan Gibbons signed his letter on April 29th. He will be attending Westminster University where he will major in Engineering and will continue his baseball career. He was joined by his parents Bob and Kim Gibbons. Youth Soccer Association Treasurer Admits Stealing $100,000 for Personal Expenses

PITTSBURGH, PA – A Beaver County resident pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of wire fraud, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today. Jenessa Tolejko, 35, of Beaver, PA 15009 pleaded guilty to one count before United States District Judge Arthur J. Schwab. In connection with the guilty plea, the court was advised that Tolejko, while serving as Treasurer of the Brighton Township – Beaver Soccer Association, a volunteer-run youth soccer association, improperly used $100,000 of the soccer association’s money for personal expenditures, including a cruise, other travel, goods from Amazon and LuLaRoe, and her household…


Mayor Court To Speak At V-E Day Ceremony

Mayor Anthony Court will be the guest speaker at a Wreath-laying Ceremony in honor of the 76th Anniversary of the Allied Victory in Europe (V-E Day) to be held at the World War Two monument in front of the Ellwood City Municipal Building on Saturday, May 8 at 10:00 a.m. After Mayor Court’s address, the wreath laying will be done by the Ellwood City American Legion J. POLICE: Criminal Complaints

INDECENT EXPOSURE: Michael Hill, 18, of Wampum, is charged with indecent exposure on February 14th in Wayne Township. According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to a call in Wampum from a juvenuile saying that the man she and her friend were hanging out wih exposed himself. The juvenile who made the call related she left the scene due to the inappropriate and unwanted behavior of Hill. Hill later told offcers that he was just hanging out with his girlfriend and did admit to exposing himself. Free COVID-19 Vaccines Available At Worksite Medical

Worksite Medical in Ellwood City has announced free COVID-19 vaccines. At the moment, 1,200 Pfizer vaccines are available and they are currently first come first serve at the clinic. To be able to receive the vaccine, you must call the clinic and schedule an appointment or schedule one on the Worksite Medical website. You also will need to bring your drivers license or another form of ID and you will have to provide a phone number. The shot itself will take 10 minutes, afterwards you must sit for 15 minutes.
