Another new business is ‘cracking’ in downtown Ellwood City. Early in December local chiropractic practice, Allen Chiropractic made its way from Ellport to the main street of Ellwood. The practice is owned by John Allen. Previously, Allen Chiropractic had been located across the street from Culligan Water and was there for seven years. Local Riverside graduate, Sarah Espen, has just made a name for her in the music world by releasing an EP in late December. New Ellwood City Borough Manager Elected at November Council Meeting

Ellwood City Council votes on new borough manager at the monthly meeting on November 19. All council members were present at the meeting except Mayor, Anthony J. Court. Ellwood City Council has finally permanently filled the borough manager position for the upcoming year. The council voted 5-2 for William David Allen to be the new full-time borough manger. Ellwood City Council held their regular monthly agenda meeting on November 13. All council members were present at the meeting except Mayor, Anthony J. Court due to a prior engagement.
