Beaver County Announces 2022 Hazardous Waste Collection Date

Safely dispose of common household chemicals and take advantage of the Beaver County Hazardous Waste Collection event that is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022. The collection takes place at Bradys Run Park Recycling Center in Brighton Township and is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  A $20.00 fee covers disposal up to 10 gallons/50 pounds of the following materials: Aerosol cans,  automotive fluids, motor oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, brake fluid, batteries, camp fuel/small propane bottles, chemistry sets,  compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), electronic cigarettes, gasoline and kerosene, household cleaners, ammonia, drain openers, acid cleaners, oven cleaners, mercury thermometers, paint…

Brush Creek Clean Up Scheduled

Take pride in your community and help clean up Brush Creek Park. Franklin Township has announced its Brush Creek Clean-Up date that will take place on Saturday, April 23rd from noon to dusk at the park. Volunteers are needed to help pick up garbage, sticks, & brush. Bring a team, ask friends, co-workers, clubs, school groups, and athletic teams. Wampum American Legion Offering Another All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast

The Wampum American Legion if offering another all-you-can-eat Breakfast, this one schedule for on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is scheduled to take place at the Legion club located at 436 Beaver Street, Wampum, PA 16157. The menu features scrambled eggs, home fries, french toast, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bacon, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice. Costs for the breakfast are $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for children five years and younger. “The first breakfast was a great success. Annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration Announced!

The annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at Ewing Park, Ellwood City from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be vendors, food provided by INMETCO, musicians, and childrens activities. American Idol’s Morgan Gruber to Perform at Koehler

Ellwood City Band Bash will host “An Evening with Morgan Gruber” at Koehler Brewery Pub on April 9. Along with Gruber, local bands The Leftovers, Mac ‘n Nat, and Rover will play.
