Local Residents Hosting Vendor and Craft Show to Benefit Club Hope

After feeling an amazing amount of love and support during her Lymphoma diagnosis in March, Betty Phillippi wanted to give back. So she along with her granddaughter Jessica Schiavoni are hosting a craft and vendor show to help Club Hope. “Club Hope was so good to me this past year,” Phillippi said. “They were just really great and supportive.” The Christmas Hope Vendor & Craft Show will be held on December 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wayne Township Firehall, 5153 Ellwood Road, Ellwood City. ‘Let There Be Lights’ Weekend Of Events Start Friday

Kick off your Holiday’s with a series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. First, on Friday, downtown will light up with the lighting of the holiday tree in the Ellwood City Community plaza at 7:30 p.m. as part of Ellwood City’s Light Up Night. Lawrence County Offering Energy Conservation & Waste Reduction Workshop

The Lawrence-Mercer Recycling/Solid Waste Department has announced a new workshop in December. Learn how to ‘green’ your home through energy conservation and waste reduction with money saving and climate tips. Christ Presbyterian Church Boar’s Head Festival Returns!

After a two year hiatus, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Christ Presbyterian Church is happy to announce the return of the “Boar’s Head Festival.” The festival will take place the Saturday after Thanksgiving and, again on Saturday, December 3, 2022 and on Sunday, December 4, 2022.
