Ellwood City Earth Day Event Committee Seeks Vendors

The annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at Ewing Park, Ellwood City from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The planning committee is seeking vendors to sell environmentally friendly products. Vendor products from previous years include goats milk soaps, rug rags, reusable tupperware, wood crafts, beeswax lotion bars, soaps, candles, plants, jams, herbs, goats milk lotion, and skincare products. Annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt Returns, Under New Guidance

The Ellwood Area Egg Hunt Committee is announcing their retirement. With their 27th Annual, and final, Community Easter Egghunt completed last year, the committee has retired and has turned the event over to new guidance. Local Theatre Enthusiast Planning Improv Group, Hosting Meet and Greet

Calling all local comedy improv actors … Eric McAnallen is working to bring comedy improv to Ellwood City through his community-based troupe Driftwood Dramatics. Riverside Auxilary Band Hosting 2nd Annual Spin Camp

The Riverside Auxiliary Band is hosting its 2nd Annual Spin Camp. Students will be taught baton, flag, and dance basics. Students will use these skills to learn a routine that will be performed for parents at the end of the camp. At the end of camp, students in grades 6-11 will have the opportunity to sign up for the 2023-24 Marching Band season as part of the Auxillary Band. Wampum American Legion Offering An All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast

The Wampum American Legion is starting it’s all-you-can-eat Breakfast event again on Saturday, February 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event is scheduled to take place at the Legion club located at 436 Beaver Street, Wampum, PA 16157. The menu features scrambled eggs, home fries, french toast, sausage, biscuits & gravy, bacon, toast, coffee, tea and orange juice.
