Wander Ellwood Extended by An Hour Tonight!

Wander Ellwood is tonight and residents will get an extra hour to enjoy what the city has to offer. Council extended the Wander Ellwood event for July to allow for an extra hour of entertainment, shopping, events and and simply “wandering” the city. The event will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Ellwood City’s own open-air street night hosts vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment among the commerce and small businesses in downtown Ellwood City. Franklin Township To Host 10th Annual National Night Out Event

Come on out and mingle with fellow community members! Franklin Township will be holding their 10th Annual National Night Out Event on Tuesday, August 1st, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Franklin Plaza in Ellwood City. There will be free activities for children, fire safety, CPR training, prize giveaways, and food vendors. The annual event will host approximately 40 vendors for the event.  The event is sponsored by Plassmeyer Towing. Ellwood City Cheerleaders Hosting Color Run On August 12th

The Ellwood City Cheerleaders will be hosting its 5k Color Run in August. The event is its annual 5k the cheerleaders host each year with the exception of 2020 because of COVID-19. The run is fun for all ages and athletic abilities. The run consists of participants going through the nature trail and circling around Ewing Park. “Some people walk the 5k and some are more serious and want to run,” says LHS Cheer Booster Tresurer, Nicole DiCerbo. Bernstine Announces Free Shredding Event for Constituents in the 8th Legislative District HARRISBURG – In an effort to bring greater awareness to identity theft crime, Rep. Festival Entertainment Part Five: Rust Valley Revival to Return to Festival with Rockin’ Lineup

The Ellwood City Festival is a bit of a Rock Reunion for Rust Valley Revival (RVR). This year’s Festival will mark one year since the band’s first gig. According to Terry “Terr” Engelman one of the guitarists for RVR, the band is looking forward to their return. “Everyone is so nice at the Festival. The band always have a great time.
