Love cars, crafts, food, and fun? Don’t miss Ellwood City Alumni Hall of Fame’s Inaugural Cars and Crafts Event. It will be held THIS Sunday, August 13th from 2 to 6 p.m. at 501 Crescent Avenue and will feature fun for the whole family. 2023 Moraine State Park Regatta Brings Free Recreation Opportunities

Portersville – The 24th annual Moraine State Park Regatta will return this August 5-6 on the shores of Lake Arthur’s South Shore (225 Pleasant Valley Road, Portersville, PA 16051). The festivities will span most of the shoreline and include both land and water activities. The Regatta is Saturday 10:00 am-10:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am-6:00 pm. The event has grown in popularity in recent years, drawing a record of over 28,000 attendees in 2021. Wander Ellwood Extended by An Hour Tonight!

Wander Ellwood is tonight and residents will get an extra hour to enjoy what the city has to offer. Council extended the Wander Ellwood event for July to allow for an extra hour of entertainment, shopping, events and and simply “wandering” the city. Franklin Township To Host 10th Annual National Night Out Event

Come on out and mingle with fellow community members! Franklin Township will be holding their 10th Annual National Night Out Event on Tuesday, August 1st, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Franklin Plaza in Ellwood City. There will be free activities for children, fire safety, CPR training, prize giveaways, and food vendors. Ellwood City Cheerleaders Hosting Color Run On August 12th

The Ellwood City Cheerleaders will be hosting its 5k Color Run in August. The event is its annual 5k the cheerleaders host each year with the exception of 2020 because of COVID-19. The run is fun for all ages and athletic abilities. The run consists of participants going through the nature trail and circling around Ewing Park. “Some people walk the 5k and some are more serious and want to run,” says LHS Cheer Booster Tresurer, Nicole DiCerbo.
