ECR Revitalization Winter Wine and Brew Fest

The Ellwood City Revitalization (ECR) committee partners closely with the Ellwood City Chamber of Commerce and the Ellwood City Council to dedicate efforts toward restoring the local community in order to invite businesses, families and visitors back into the area – ultimately as an attempt to encourage local economy growth. Activities taking place for the week at the Ellwood City Area Public Library are as follows: The library is closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday. Portersville Christian School Open House

Portersville Christian School will hold an information Night/Open House on Monday January 23, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the church for families interested in enrolling students for the 2016-2017 school year. The school is accepting student applications and registrations prior to the release of next year’s tuition schedule at the end of March 2017. In addition to kindergarten, there are openings in most grade levels for fall 2017. Interested families who have students entering kindergarten and grades 7 & 9 are encouraged to apply early, since these grades tend to fill up fast. Corona D’Italia Lodge December Meeting

Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 officers and members held their annual Christmas Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 5p.m. at the Wolverine Restaurant. Treasurer Louise Vitullo and her member daughters, Patti Kuhn and Maura Greco, provided reservation information and greeted all arrivals.
