Lake Strikes Out 14, Wolverines Improve To 3-0

Aaron Lake struck out 14 batters and allowed only one hit across six scoreless innings as Ellwood City defeated Central Valley 3-0 on Tuesday to improve to 3-0 on the young regular season. Lake did not walk a batter and added an RBI single offensively for the Wolverines. Ellwood City collected three runs in the bottom of the first inning to spark the offense. Jordan Keller, Lake, and Mikael Cuevas each collected RBIs in the opening frame. Nate Kennedy tossed a scoreless inning of relief to earn the save for Ellwood City. New Castle, PA) Geoffrey Bokor, 23, transferred to BC3 @ Lawrence when it debuted in August and after attending a regional public university, and Madison Ritter, 24, enrolled after working as a cosmetologist and as a child care provider. “I feel it’s a great decision,” said Bokor, of Ellwood City. “I know I kind of did the order a little backwards. BC3 To Launch Radiologic Technology Program In 2027

Butler County Community College will establish in August 2027 a radiologic technology career program using contributed imaging equipment that will prepare students to enter a high-priority occupation in Pennsylvania and augment the hospital-like Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building on the college’s main campus in Butler Township. School Crossing Guard to Council: Blinking Signs Not Deterring Speeding

A school crossing guard continued to urge Ellwood City Borough Council to take action against speeding cars at the intersection of 4th and Crescent Avenues during Monday’s regular meeting.
