Holy Redeemer Parish is celebrating 50 Golden Bazaar years starting Wednesday, July 27 and continuing through Saturday July 30. The bazaar’s rich and successful history was made possible by the work ethic of its parishioners and their dedication to serving their parish family and community but every successful initiative has a beginning and must be blessed with excellent leadership. In 1966, the parish’s Special Activities Group (SAG) provided the guidance needed, and were the driving force behind the annual bazaar as we know it today. Seats are still available for the Women’s Club of Ellwood City sponsored bus trip to Ohio Amish Country (Walnut Creek).
