POLICE: Fatal Motorcycle Accident On Route 65

According to a Pennsylvania State police report, a man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening at approximately 6:00 p.m. on PA Route 65 (Ellwood Road) near Hogue Road in Slippery Rock Township. Through evidence located at the scene, David Sedgwick, 43, of Ellwood City, was traveling southbound on Ellwood Road when an oncoming vehicle was attempting to turn left from a private driveway located on the west side of the roadway. The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458. Borough Buildings to close Monday November 9

In an abundance of caution, the Borough of Ellwood City has decided to limit the access of all non-essential employees and visitors to all Borough-owned buildings. Registration Open For 25th Annual Gobbler’s Gallop On Thanksgiving

The Gobbler’s Gallop turns a quarter century. The 25th annual Gobbler’s Gallop will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, at Riverside High School’s Memorial Stadium.
