Florida Businessman Pleads Guilty in $100M Health Care Fraud Scheme Involving Ellwood City Medical Center

BC3 Volleyball Upholds Highest Ranking In Program History

Lincoln High School graduate Breanna Reisinger is helping lead a Butler County Community College volleyball team that enters the second half of its 2022 regular season this week upholding the highest national ranking the program has had in its history. BC3, with a 7-2 record, was ranked No. 2 among 97 programs in a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll released Monday. The Pioneers were also ranked No. 2 in a Sept. 6 poll. EC Historical Society Monthly Meeting Wrap-Up

The Ellwood City Area Historical Society started their 2022-2023 season with a dinner meeting at the Connoquennesing Country Club on Monday, September 12th. President Everett Bleakney welcomed all in attendance, and reminded them of the Society’s mission to Collect, Protect, Preserve and make the History of the Ellwood City Area available to all. Gov. Wolf: $246 Million Awarded to Support Small Businesses Across Pennsylvania

The Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation was among the 21 economic development organizations to receive upwards of $123.8 million in revolving loan funds to help aid small businesses in the county. The Revolving Loan Fund program provides funding to economic development organizations to create or recapitalize revolving loan funds to support financing for Pennsylvania small businesses. The Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation is slated to received $1,122,500.00 in funds. SPORTS: The Streak Is Over!; RHS Tennis Defeats Wolverines; EC Volleyball Remains Unbeaten

The longest losing streak (27 games) in the WPIAL is officially over as the Wolverines cruised to their first victory in 4 years, defeating the Carlynton Cougars 46-6 on Friday night. The Cougars started the night off with electing to receive the ball after winning the coin toss, showing that they wanted to start on offense early. Wayne Township Clean-Up Day Announced

Wayne Township residents are invited to participate in the annual clean-up day that will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. until Noon at the Wayne Township Municipal Building.
