The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458. Hill View Manor Hosting Trick or Treat

On Sunday, October 25th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., school-age kids (ages 5-12) can visit a Scare Manor attraction (kid themed) and walk through a Truck n Treat area for treats at the Hill View Manor in New Castle. All admission fees for event will be donated to Shenango Township K-9 Unit. One nonpaying parent or guardian must accompany a minor at all times (up to 3 kids per adult). RHS Soccer Playoffs, EC Junior High Football Champs & EC Volleyball Remains Unbeaten

In a local sports round-up, the Ellwood City Junior High Football team collected Tri-County championship while the Ellwood City Girls Volleyball team remained unbeaten.  Congratulations are in order for both Riverside Panther boys and girls soccer teams as they each qualified for the WPIAL Playoffs. The Riverside Boys (4-5-1 overall) qualified for a 16-team Class-A playoff field and will face #2 Winchester Thurston (11-1-0 overall, Class 1A Section 2) in first round action on Tuesday, October 27th. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 24th for a series of Lawrence County Blue Splash rallies. The Lawrence County Action is hosting a day of Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) rallies in Ellwood City & New Castle. Bernstine to Host Shredding Event On October 31

HARRISBURG – As a free service to the community, Rep. Ellwood City Boys Cross Country Wins Tri-County Championship

The Ellwood City Varsity Boys Cross Country team collected a championship in the Tri-County meet over the weekend. “My coaching staff and I are so proud of these bunch of young men they been working so hard all summer long it’s all paying off,” said head coach Mark Hall. Ellwood City Borough Council to Meet Tonight: Agenda

Council is set to vote on a motion to authorize Gabrielle Gretch to move forward with the Ellwood City Military Banner project.
