2024 Ellwood City Homecoming Court Announced

Congratulations to the 2024 Lincoln High School Homecoming Court! The Homecoming King will be crowned at school during a Pep Rally and the Queen will be crowned at halftime of the Friday night football game vs. New Brighton. Lincoln High School will celebrate their 68th Homecoming on Friday, September 27th, at Helling Stadium against the New Brighton Lions. The Ellwood City Municipal Woman’s Club is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for community members to support the gazebo at the 5 Points intersection in Ewing Park. To fund essential improvements to the structure, the Municipal Woman’s club is holding a raffle with a grand prize of $1,000. 2024 Riverside Homecoming Court Announced

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. The Ellwood City Moose Club will be taking action at a local level to help create a safer environment for the children in our community and bring awareness to the initiative. Borough Notifies Residents Of No Late Fees, Shut-Offs On Recent Electric Billing

In a statement made available on the borough website and social media this week, the Borough of Ellwood City is notifying its residents there will be no shut offs this month and all late fees will be waived due to system issues. The Borough is aware that delinquent notices have been mailed with a shut off date included. Per the Borough Manager, Kevin Swogger, there will be no shut offs in the month of September and all late fees will be waived for the month of September due to system issues with the new operating system for Ellwood Electric.
