Schwarz Drives In 5 Runs, Wolverines Remain Unbeaten

Sara Schwarz drove in five runs to lead Ellwood City to a 10-8 road victory over New Castle on Tuesday. Ellwood City (5-0 Overall) built a seven run lead in the fifth inning and then held off a comeback attempt by the Red Hurricanes. REMINDER: Wayne Township Board Of Supervisors Meets Thursday

The Wayne Township Board of Supervisors monthly meeting for April is scheduled to be held Thursday, April 4th at 6:00 p.m. If community members are concerned or care to express any opinions on any township related matter, they may choose to do so at this time. In March, the Wayne Township Board of Supervisors voted against holding its annual clean-up day as part of its new business items. Franklin Township Announces 2024 Clean Up Day

Clean up your yard, clean up your home, and clean up your garage! Franklin Township residents are invited to participate in a township clean-up day planned for Saturday, May 4, 2024. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last until 2:00 p.m. for township residents. Residents can drop off trash at the Franklin Township Building located on Route 288 in Fombell. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON: Richard Alan Criss, 50, of Edinburg, is charged with Assault after an incident on March 23rd. According to a police report, and at approximately 7:50PM, police responded to a report of an active domestic in Mahoning township. Police found that Criss had engaged in a verbal argument with a 52-year-old female victim of Wampum before brandishing a gun and firing it in the direction of the victim. Groundbreaking Set For New Stonecrest Business Park

Groundbreaking for the Stonecrest Business Park will take place on Thursday, March 28th at 8:30 a.m. at 2298 Route 18 in New Beaver Borough.
