She was born in New Castle on July 2 1930 to the late Russell and Ella Thompson Kemp. Dawna graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, in the class of 1948. She worked from 1966-1992 as a school secretary/clerk for the Ellwood City School District, mainly at Walnut Ridge School. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ellwood City. He was born in Frisco (Franklin Twp, Beaver Co.) on January 16 1928 to the late Loyal E. and Ethel G. McCartney Hockenberry. Kaufman, 98, of Douglasville Georgia,  formerly of Ellwood City (Wiley Hill), passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Center in Lithia Springs GA. She was born in Ellwood City on November 27 1917 to the late Earl Ellwood Duncan and the late Ida Mae Hummer Duncan. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, and was a member of Berachah Chapel  and later attended Wiley Hill Baptist Church while she lived here. Rhonda   Evans, 57,  of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly  into God’s hands on  Wednesday, Sept. 21,  2016. She was born in Ellwood City on January 16 1959 , to the late James J. Evans Sr. and the late Josephine E. Tisdale Evans. Pat was born on September 8, 1940 in Rimersburg, PA. to the late Russell and Geneva Frampton Lewis. She married Blaine E. Miller, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2001. Richard V. Fisher, 85 of Perry Highway (US Rte 19), Portersville, passed away on Saturday, August 13th 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, Pennsylvania. Dick was born in New Castle PA on September 14, 1930 to the late Vernon T. and Alda Jane Fisher. He married the former Florence Louise Fisher who preceded him in death on September 25, 2008. Robert H. Symons, 71 of Lilac Hill Lane, Volant PA passed away at his residence the evening of August 10th 2016.
