Alice Elizabeth “Betty” Klindienst Januszkiewicz, 97, of Huntington, WV, formerly of Ellwood City,  died on  Friday May 3, 2019 in Huntington. Betty was born August 9, 1921 in Ellwood City, to  the late Alvie William Klindienst, Sr. and Gladys Thomas Klindienst. She was a graduate of Lincoln (Ellwood City) High School, class of 1939. She also graduated from NY Polytechnic Clinic in NYC in 1945, and  was a registered nurse at Ellwood City Hospital and Passavant Hospital here. Pellicano,  77,  of Freedom,  formerly  of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Sunday afternoon, May  5 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage  Valley Beaver. She was born in Farrell PA,  on May 10, 1941, to the late  Anthony  and Josephine Cara Chiurazzi. Nancy graduated from  Farrell  High School. Her family was her pride and joy. Margaret Jane Wilson, 75, of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in Ellwood City on April 21 1944, to the late Robert C. “Red” and Hilda M, Zikeli Wilson. Esther G. Kelly,  67, of  Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed  away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 18 2019 at  UPMC Mage-Womens  Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in Ellwood City on June 12 1951, to the late Augustine  “Bud” and Edna Herold   Kelly. Virgil H. Blinn, 98

Virgil   H. Blinn,  98, of Ellwood City (Wurtemburg), passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, April 8 2019, at his home. He was born in Frisco (Franklin Twp.)  on July 2 1920 , to the late Howard and Edith McDanel Blinn. He  served in the US Army  during  WWII as a truck driver in the 2nd Armored Division,  receiving four  stars for the battles of Northern France,  the  Rhineland and the Battle of the Bulge  in 1944.   An Ellwood City Ledger article of April 20 2015 described Blinn’s service including enduring German V-1 buzz bombs. Ellen L.  Rice Remler, 99, of  Avalon Place, New Castle,  formerly of  Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.), passed away peacefully at  Avalon  Place on Monday morning, March 25 2019. She was born in Ellwood City on October 19 1919, to the late Oran V. Rice, and the late Ethel K. McKelvey Rice. Colonel  E. Dale Cunningham,  90,  accepted an auction bid from the One who owns the cattle upon a thousand hills, on March 20 2019. Our deep loss is his elated reunion with his sweetheart wife, Helen.   He shared that deep loss of his father and mother, Charles and Elizabeth Kiesling Cunningham, and many dear friends and relatives he missed daily.
