Winter Wine and Brew Fest Tickets Still Available

Tickets are still available for The Annual Ellwood City Winter Wine and Brew Fest. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 26 at the Sons of Italy at 808 Lawrence Ave. The event is an annual favorite and proceeds benefit Ellwood City Revitalization. Ellwood City Community Garden Seeking Volunteers

The Ellwood City Community Garden is seeking volunteers and donors for its 2022 growing season. The Ellwood City Community Garden, located at 327 Sims Street, is a collaborative project between the Borough of Ellwood City, the local food bank, and many community volunteers and local businesses. The garden is composed of raised beds, each planted, tended to, and harvested by a local family or organization. The harvest is donated to the local food bank in an effort to increase access to fresh, nutrient-dense produce for community members in need. ECASD Bocce Team to Compete in Regional Playoff

“Come on, Now” Who wouldn’t want to be on or support the Ellwood City Area School District’s Bocce Team? Since 2017, the team has been growing and succeeding. In fact, the team is headed to SRU today to compete for the regional playoff after taking 1st place and the gold medal in section playoffs. They defeated Shenango—last year’s gold medal team—12 to 3. Ellwood City Band Bash to Benefit Fourth of July Fireworks

The Ellwood City Band Bash is back!!! This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 19, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Koehler Brewery Pub. “I’m super excited to be bringing the band bash back to Koehler Brewery where it started,” said event organizer Eric Rayner. “Back in February 2020 right before the pandemic hit we had what we called the fireworks fundraiser which later became the band bash. Borough Council Adopts Budget Payment Plan for Utility Accounts

Ellwood City Borough Council adopted Resolution #2004-4 approving a budget payment plan for utility accounts under the following provisions: Customers may complete the application form provided by the Borough during the annual open enrollment period from the third Monday in March through the third Friday in April. The first budget-billing amount will appear on the May utility bill. The maximum budget periods will be twelve (12) months with all balances due to be settled in the 12th month.
