It’s going to be a doggy dog world at Ewing Park this weekend! Don’t miss this year’s Dog Days of Summer event happening tomorrow June 24 and Sunday June 25 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., rain or shine. Borough Manager Announces Projects During Council Voting Meeting

During Monday’s Borough Council Meeting, Borough Manager Kevin Swogger said many projects are planned across the borough of Ellwood City including the addition of a handicapped bathroom at Ewing Park. He also said the borough is working on getting quotes for signs to be placed at the entrances to town at 488 in Ellport and Route 65 from New Castle. Ellwood City Borough Council voted to rescind the request by Fifth and Spring, LLC in regards to a Dunkin’ fast food restaurant at the intersection of Fifth Street and Spring Avenue approved during their May 15, 2023 meeting. Unofficial results from yesterday’s May 16, 2023 primary have been posted. Lawrence County According Lawrence County’s website, there were 13,266 ballots cast in Lawrence County.
