Elvie “Jeannette” Witherow, 98, formerly of Ellport, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born in Ellwood City on October 15, 1927, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elvie Richardson Garmon. She married Raymond C. Witherow on July 4, 1947 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2021. A 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School, Jeannette worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. Roger D. Baney, 78, of Wayne Township, went home to meet his Lord and Savior on October 16, 2025, following complications from surgery. Born in Ellwood City on April 11, 1954, Marylinda was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Agnes Sullivan Morello.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rock, Jr. on March 4, 2012.  Marylinda retired from Friendship Ridge Nursing Center after many years as a nurse’s aide.  She was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church.  Marylinda enjoyed family get-togethers, reading, movies and games.
