Albert R. Leopardi, 83, of Franklin Township, passed away at Butler Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 27, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on October 4, 1938, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Thressa Ritorto Leopardi.  Albert is survived by his wife, the former Linda Fabian, whom he married on February 19, 1994.  He had worked as a machinist at American Steel and later retired from the Ellwood City Forge. Very Rev. Protopresbyter Michael Polanichka reposed in The Lord on Monday morning, December 20, 2021 at the age of 85. Born July 17,1936 in Scranton, PA to the late Nicholas and Susan (Chuvan) Polanichka.Proto. Michael entered the Diocesan Seminary of Christ the Savior in Johnstown, PA in September 1956 and graduated in June 1960. On June 11, 1960 he married the former Eleanor Jean Hazuda in Nesquehoning, PA and they just celebrated their 61st Wedding anniversary in June 2021. Opal Jane Nye McConahy, 90, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on October 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Catherine and Theron Nye. Opal graduated from Jackson High School in Canton, Ohio.  She was the past president of the Ellport School PTA and she also worked many jobs in the Ellwood area. Danny L. McQuiston, 79, of Wayne Township, passed away at his residence on Friday, December 10, 2021. Patricia A. Metheny, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Frederick A. “Mac” McAnallen, 73, of Ellport, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at UPMC McCandless, just 9 days after his wife, Leslie.
