Born in New Brighton on August 5, 1941, Paul was the son of the late John Russell and Mary Elizabeth (Aiken) Rader.  Paul is survived by his wife, the former Karen Downing whom he married on October 22, 1960.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church.  Along with his sons, Paul owned and operated JJ Kennedy, Inc. in Zelienople.  Paul and his wife spent their winters in Melbourne Beach, Florida.  He enjoyed collecting classic cars and tractors but mostly Paul enjoyed…

Wayne J. Bowser, 72, of Koppel, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born in Kittanning, PA on October 1, 1949, Wayne was the son of Margaret McAfoose Bowser of Koppel and the late Wayne H. Bowser.  Wayne was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping.  Wayne was a school bus driver for Valley Lines, a job he enjoyed immensely. Priscilla “Pat” Tomon, 83, of Wayne Township, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 18, 2022. Born in Bessemer on January 16, 1939, Pat was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Kogut Snezic. She married John M. Tomon on October 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2017. Pat retired from First Commonwealth Bank where she worked as a teller. A member of St. Mary Church, Holy Spirit Parish, Pat was also a member of Silver Sneakers and SNPJ. Eugene Gaul, 85, of Ellwood City, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Butler Health System. Born on July 11, 1936 in Ellwood City, Gene was the son of the late Ignatz and Mary Kish Gaul. He married the former Karolina Platzer on January 29, 1957. Gene retired as an insurance agent for Prudential. Born in New Brighton, PA on January 28, 1958, Kelly was the daughter of the late William Jesseman and Carol Kirkham Cutich. She married John Robert Gavrile on September 16, 1979 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2018. Kelly worked at the former Salvation Army Retail Store in Beaver Falls. Mary L. Kalcevic, 101, of Ellport, passed away at Allegheny Health System, Wexford, on Monday, February 7, 2022. Born in Beadling, Allegheny County on April 14, 1920, Mary was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marguerite Leymarie.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Louis V. Kalcevic.  He passed away on March 30, 1990. Born in Ellwood City on June 21, 1956, Sharon was the daughter of the late Floyd and Erma Twentier Wolfe.  She married Paul Lewis on May 1, 2005.  Sharon retired from McGuire Home, where she worked as a caregiver.  She loved the water, loved swimming and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.
