Mrs. Rose LaGala, 90, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on June 11th, 2021 at the Rolling Meadows Nursing Facility in Waynesburg. Mrs. LaGala was born on August 21st, 1930, in Pietramelara, Italy to the late Thomas and Antionetta (Collela) Russiello. She came over to the United States when she was in 8th grade and worked at the Matress Factory in Ellport. Mrs. LaGala was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Mr. Domenic “Mimi” Bellissimo, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, June 10th, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Bellissimo was born on February 12th, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late Bruno and Victoria (DeCaria) Bellissimo. He is a graduate of Lincoln High School. Mr. Eugene Leroy Stiefel, 94, passed away on Thursday, June 3rd, 2021. He was born on August 12th, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Archie and Mildred (Jacobs) Stiefel and was a lifelong resident of Ellwood City. One of the few remaining World War II veterans, Eugene served on Guam as a Navy Seabee.
