It was with great pride that Mayor Anthony J. Court swore into office the newest hired full time patrol officer for Ellwood City’s police force, Jonathan Fauzey. Fauzey will work side by side with a veteran officer of the force to enhance his skills while upholding the integrity of the entire Department. Monaca, Pa. –Community College of Beaver County has formally acquired nearly 13 acres of land adjacent to the main campus in Center Township. The Senate Agriculture & Rural Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 10, to gather testimony on a bill that would permit the sale of fireworks to Pennsylvania residents, according to Committee Chairman Senator Elder Vogel (R-47).
