Ellwood City Area Food Bank

The Junior High Student Council of Lincoln High School, along with the Caring Team of LHS, would like to invite the surrounding communities to contribute to the Ellwood City Area Food Bank during the Ellwood City Girl/Boys Tipoff Classic Tournament to be held at Lincoln High School December 9 and 10. Seventh and Eighth grade students have already donated over 400 items. The Ellwood City Hospital Basket Raffle will be Friday, Dec. 9 Drawings will begin at 1p.m. in the Hospital Cafeteria Dining Room. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and Ellwood City Relay for Life. Winners do not need to be present.


Vietnam Veterans Honorary Pins Available at Senator Vogel’s Offices

Senator Elder Vogel Jr. encourages all veterans who served on active duty in the United States Armed Forces at any time during the period of November 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975 to visit his district offices to receive a special 50th Anniversary commemorative Vietnam Veterans’ lapel pin. Due to limited supply, only one commemorative pin will be available per veteran.
