Born August 12, 1960 in Connellsville, PA, he was the son of the late Ray Sutherland and Willa Fern (Shelling) Sutherland of Hopwood, PA. He was married to Marcia Greenberg Sutherland for 35 years as they were married June 9, 1985. She survives. Dorothy M. Wiley, 91,of Denny Schill Manor, Ellwood City went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 17, 2020. Born July 29, 1928 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Frances (Miller) Tanner. Dorothy worked at various companies in the area including Bell Telephone, the former Benjamin’s Hallmark Store, the Ellwood City Library and the Ellwood City School District, but her most loved job was raising her two children. M. Patricia Seaburn, 81, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by loved ones. Born July 28, 1938 in McKeesport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Woodferd and Mildred Virginia (Johnson) Dougherty. As a child, she moved with her parents and sister to the Shadyrest area of Ellwood City and grew up along the Connoquenessing Creek, spending many days canoeing and caring for her pet animals. Frederick R. Hartwell, 84, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 6, 2020 at his residence. Born September 29, 1935 in Greenfield, MA, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Elizabeth C. (Bridges) Hartwell. Fred was formerly employed at Harvey Aluminum and Martin Metals and Alloys. Florence Marshall Hazen, 93, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Jameson Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born September 11, 1926 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late William and Alta Vivian Rosser. Florence graduated from Portersville High School and Geneva College. She taught at Wayne Twp.
