Born April 29, 1921 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Camille Peltier Aniceti. She was married to the late William Petro. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Gina J. Ferrucci and two brothers, Andrew and Alfred Aniceti. Elizabeth was a member and sang in the choir at the former St. Monica Church in Wampum. Melvin L. Moser, 83, of Portersville passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Allegheny General Hospital following a two week illness. Born August 21, 1936 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Michael and Leila (Smith) Moser. Melvin formerly owned and operated Moser Logging and also worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church. Melvin served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Zelienople American Legion and the Ellwood City Hungarian Home. Born April 18, 1923 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late John S. and Sarah J (Reed) McCready . He was married for 68 years to Aline M. (McFarland) McCready who preceded him in death on August 27, 2014. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Doutt and Virginia Bright; one brother, John S. Judith Vogel Protain, 71, of New Castle passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital following an illness. Born June 17, 1948 in Rochester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Reno and Marion (Murphy) Frati. She was married to Donald L. Vogel Sr. who died in 2013 and currently Howard E. She was born March 9, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late LaVern E. and Betty (Johnson) Carl. Active in her high school, Nancy played the French horn, marched as a majorette and volunteered time to assist in the care of special needs children.
