Elizabeth Lucille Gleghorn Huston, 98, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020 at her home in Enon Valley. She was born October 11, 1921 in Mt.Jackson to the late John A. and Esther (Reed) Gleghorn. She was married to Wayne E. Huston who preceded her in death. Lucille, also known as Libby Lou, was a graduate of North Beaver High School in Mt. Jackson and a 1943 graduate of Jameson Hospital School of Nursing in New Castle, working many years as a Registered Nurse. Frederick R. Hartwell, 84, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 6, 2020 at his residence. Born September 29, 1935 in Greenfield, MA, he was the son of the late Harry D. and Elizabeth C. (Bridges) Hartwell. Fred was formerly employed at Harvey Aluminum and Martin Metals and Alloys. He served in the Marines during the Korean War. Fred enjoyed being with friends and playing pool. He was generous in life and enjoyed taking care of family and friends. Florence Marshall Hazen, 93, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Jameson Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born September 11, 1926 in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late William and Alta Vivian Rosser. Florence graduated from Portersville High School and Geneva College. She taught at Wayne Twp. Elementary School until the birth of her first child. Florence enjoyed camping and the outdoors. In Florida, she lived at the American Outdoors RV Park where she taught water exercising for 25 years. Gale Arthur Tillia, 86, of Shenango Twp., New Castle passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford following a lengthy illness. He was born December 11, 1933 in his home in Shenango Twp. Gale was the son of the late Eugene and Hazel (Reno) Tillia. Gale worked for 20 years at Babcock and Wilcox as a crane operator. Dennis L. Graham, 72, of Shenango Twp, New Castle passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Born January 6, 1948 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Loron and Lillian (Reynolds) Graham. Denny was a graduate of Lincoln High School. Born November 15, 1930 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Leila Smith Moser. She was married to Richard A. Geer Sr. for 64 years until his death in 2016.
