Robert Russell Berkebile, 83, of Koppel passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at PAM Health at Heritage Valley-Beaver following a brief illness. Born July 16, 1939 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Russell and Mildred Craig Berkebile. He married Jessie Swogger Berkebile on October 12, 1999. Robert had graduated from Lincoln High School in 1957. After graduation, he followed in his father’s footsteps and became a barber in Koppel. Matthew W. Cogley Sr., 88, of Franklin Township passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence. Born June 12, 1934 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Leroy Ellwood and Louise Smith Cogley. He was married to Kathleen Gilligan Cogley. Matthew was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He worked as a Union Electrician until his retirement from Frankl Electric in McKees Rocks. Some of Matt’s interests were fishing, puzzles, being outside, and working in his rose garden. Royann Winfield, 62, of Ellport passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at her residence following a 3 1/2 year courageous battle with cancer. Royann faced her battle with cancer with strength, courage, and a positive attitude that was an example to all. Born August 5, 1960 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Dolores Geary Winfield. Royann graduated from Riverside in 1978 and Slippery Rock University in 1983. Suella Ida Volpe, 80, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 in North Carolina following a short illness. Born November 15, 1942 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Orville Cox and Lorraine Kildoo Jeffers. Suella graduated from Lincoln High School in 1960. She was part owner of The Kildoo Agency Insurance Company on Pittsburgh Circle until her retirement in 2010. Suella loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and traveling. Jessica Michelle Spaulding, 41, of New Castle passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Born May 28, 1981 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Todd Boots and Rachelle Bellian Kruger. She was married to James Spaulding Sr. when he passed away on August 8, 2008. Robert Lee “Boo” Johnson, 54, of Aliquippa passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at his residence. Born March 7, 1968 in New Brighton, he was the son of Robert Tanchuk and Diane Kidd.
