David R White, 93, of Ellport passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Butler Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born February 10, 1929 in Harmony, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Nellie V. White. He was married to Marlene Foushee White for 43 years. She survives. David retired as the Plant Supervisor of Union Chill Mat Company. He was a member of the Park Gate Baptist Church. A Corporal in the Army, David served in Japan and Korea. Born April 2, 1960 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Paul C. and Virginia Shrum Klinesmith. April was first employed at the Blair Nursing Home and then the Passavant Retirement Center for most of her working career. Survivors include son, Clint P.
