Maude V. Shoaf (98) of Brown Road passed away on July 16, 2025. Mrs. Shoaf was born October 28, 1926, to the late Emmett and Clara Ferree Lutz. She was married to Curtis Shoaf for 63 years until his passing in 2010. She was a member of Park Gate Baptist Church. As a young woman, Maude worked at Mathew’s conveyer. Born December 2, 1932 in Penn Hills, she was the daughter of the late John W. Croft, Sr. and Ethel Marie Mains Croft. She married Donald A. Swartzlander, Sr. on September 27, 1952. Lucinda J. “Cindy” Altman, 74, of Enon Valley passed away Friday, July 11, 2025, at her residence. Born January 27, 1951, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William Herman Sr. and Dora May Wigley Kumrow. Cindy graduated from Mohawk in 1968. She had a 25-year career at Liberty Mutual and served as the secretary of the Bethel Church for 30 years. Born December 16, 1951, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Norma Marie Kiselka-Finke.
