Born December 2, 1932 in Penn Hills, she was the daughter of the late John W. Croft, Sr. and Ethel Marie Mains Croft. She married Donald A. Swartzlander, Sr. on September 27, 1952. Born January 27, 1951, in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William Herman Sr. and Dora May Wigley Kumrow. Cindy graduated from Mohawk in 1968. She had a 25-year career at Liberty Mutual and served as the secretary of the Bethel Church for 30 years.
