Man accused of cooking meth and holding knife to girlfriend’s throat According to the criminal complaint, on August 28 a woman arrived to the police station in hysterics claiming she had a knife put to her throat by her boyfriend, Tyler Michael Cory Amos, 25, of Cochranton, Pennsylvania. The victim said that she woke up from a nap and when she walked into her kitchen she saw Amos cooking a substance in a jar with a hose attached, which she believes was meth. The second annual Crop Hunger Walk will take place on September 25, 2016 at 2pm in Ewing Park. According to the organizations website, Crop Hunger Walk has been around for nearly half a century and it has been helping to end hunger by raising funds to support local food programs and the international anti-hunger work of Church World Service. 5 Charged After This Mornings Shooting

Updated 8-31-16 at 8a.m. According to the criminal complaint filed this morning, at approximately 6:45 in the morning, officers were dispatched to 515 Loop Street for a robbery in progress. The caller advised police that her boyfriend was held at gun point and gave the robbers $24.00 and a bag of marijuana. Man resisting arrest results in a bloody struggle According to the criminal complaint filed on August 25, Jamie Steven Sullivan, 44, will be facing charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest, presenting false identification to law enforcement, and criminal mischief. Sullivan and two friends were pulled over for suspicious behavior witnessed by officers on Thursday night. Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle to Benefit Brooke Moffat

On July 13th, 2016, 10 year old Brooke Moffatt was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Brooke’s parents, Darren and Lynn, are asking the community to support Brooke by attending Brooke’s Benefit Dinner hosted at the Wurtemburg-Perry Volunteer Fire Department on September 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m, and by entering the “Fiesta” Raffle.
