Mrs. Angelina M. “Angie” Esposito, 97, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, September 25, 2016 in the Avalon Nursing Center.
Mrs. Esposito was born on June 21, 1919 in Ellwood City to the late Sisto and Beatrice Faiola DeMauro. She had worked at Little Fellas in Ellport as a seamstress for several years. Angelina was also a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Louis (Kimberly) Esposito of Stow, OH, and Michael (Lynda) Esposito of Ellwood City, her grandchildren, Amy Esposito, Jennifer (Ian) Craig, and Michelle (Bruce) Myers, and her great grandchildren, Delaney Craig, Isabella and Elliott Myers, Amy Esposito, and Ryan Toth. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy J. Esposito whom she married on July 14, 1946 and passed away on August 26, 1988, her granddaughter, Amanda Ritter, her great-granddaughters, Emma and Sophie Ritter, her sisters, Frances DeCarbo and Margaret Morganelli, and her brother, Sam DeMauro in infancy.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday by 9:20 am.
Mrs. Esposito’s family would like to thank the staff of the Avalon Nursing Center for the wonderful care that they extended to her. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Esposito’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
