Ronald A. Perno, 58

Mr. Ronald A. Perno, 58, of Franklin Twp. passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 in the St. John’s Specialty Care Center.

Ron was born on June 27, 1958 in Ellwood City to the late John J. and Antionette Malozzi Perno. He had graduated from the Lawrence County Vo-Tech in 1976 where he studied carpentry. Ron is also a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. He had worked at Ellcast for 5 years, and for Ryan Homes in Beaver Falls and then in Florida for over 14 years as a carpenter. After moving back to Ellwood City in 2000, Ron became the owner and operator of RJC General Maintenance. From 2007 until 2010 Ron owned and operated Ronaldo’s Pizza which was located on 2nd St. in Ellwood City. Ron was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed going spotting for deer, woodworking, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins along with cooking shows.

Ron is survived his wife, Jessica Patterson perno whom he married on April 24, 1981, his son, Christopher Perno, his sister, Diana (Richard) Sperdute of Ellwood City, his brother, Thomas (Chris) Perno of Florida, and his sister-in-law, Deborah Perno of West Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siter, Rosann Perno, and his brother, John L. Perno.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-7 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 7pm with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Inurnment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
